Dr Dan spent time with families who have drawn support from the work of Home-Start East Ipswich and Coastal, including with mum of two Gillian Willmont from Framlingham, to hear about the invaluable work of the charity and how the programme has helped them to get the support they need.
Home-Start is a charity which exists to help families with small children to get back on their feet in times of difficulty and to help parents build better lives for their children. Home-Start's hard-working and dedicated team of volunteers visit the family's home for a couple of hours every week and develop a trusting relationship with each family.
