Shawsgate Vineyard

Shawsgate Vineyard is one of East Anglia's oldest commercial vineyards. Dan met owner and grower Leslie Jarrett.

Leslie took Dan on a tour of the Vineyards explaining about the different varieties grown, how the vines were planted to create the best conditions for production of grapes. Dan was then shown how the grapes were pressed, stored, bottled and finally sold.

Suffolk is renowned for the excellent quality food and drink it produces. Shawsgate is a fine example of this great Suffolk tradition.
