Last week Dan was delighted to be able to hold a public meeting which bought together district, county and parish councillors, along with representatives from the County Council and Anglian Water to try and resolve the ongoing serious flooding problems in Rushmere St Andrew.
This gave the residents the opportunity to speak directly to those concerned and point out the lack of desire to address the flooding problems. Dan was able to encourage the County Council to work with all concerned to try and resolve the flooding problems once and for all.
Dan will be organising another meeting again soon and hopes he will see some real progress towards finally resolving this long-standing issue.
