Dan visited one of Suffolk's leading companies on Friday, Hatcher Components, based in Framlingham.
From their Framlingham base Hatcher Components design and make class leading aerodynamic air deflectors which are fitted to commercial vehicles. Dan was impressed to learn about the company's partnership with Cranfield University who assist in the design and development of their products.
Dan was shown around the premises and was able to see how the products were constructed from the mould to final product. He was able to speak to the specialist and skilled staff about the work they were undertaking.
Suffolk has some truly class leading and innovative industries that provide a large number of jobs for local people and contribute to Suffolk's economy.
