Dr Dan visits the Meeting Place, Whitehouse

On Friday 19 August, Dr Dan enjoyed a visit to the Meeting Place in Whitehouse where he met Mags and the team, before enjoying a tour of the newly refurbished community centre.

Dr Dan was particularly impressed with the team spirit, energy and enthusiasm which has gone into turning this disused and dilapidated building into a true community hub for the residents of Whitehouse.

The Meeting Place provides a fantastic space for local residents, complete with a welcoming café on site, but it also provides a much needed base for a support network for adults with learning difficulties.
