Dr Dan was delighted to start the day with a visit to Ormison Endeavour Academy in Ipswich. The visit was the perfect opportunity for Dr Dan to witness first hand the hard work and dedication of staff and students in bringing in a whole raft of improvements, which have led to the school achieving their recent "Good" rating from Ofsted.
Dr Dan was met by Ormiston Endeavour's Principal, Christine Woods, before enjoying a special tour of the school where he met with a number of students and staff. The Academy's students were all to keen to demonstrate everything they had learned so far this academic year, but also to talk to Dr Dan about the major projects they are currently working on.
Following the tour, Dr Dan very much enjoyed hosting a Question and Answer session with the students and was very impressed with the amount of preparation and thought which had gone into the students' wide ranging questions. During the session, Dr Dan talked about his role as an MP in Parliament and here in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich.
