It was a real pleasure for Dan to join volunteers and residents at a coffee morning hosted by the Framlingham and Saxmundham branch of the Cats Protection charity. Dan was shown around the various gift stalls, before he thanked everyone who had given up their time to support the coffee morning, with all the proceeds going towards supporting the work of the charity.
Nationally, Cats Protection re-houses around 60,000 cats and kittens every year while the Framlingham and Saxmundham branch houses between 200 and 300 cats and kittens. The branch has a team of dedicated local volunteers who help to look after stray cats and kittens that are found locally, whilst it also runs regular neutering campaigns and offers free advice to the public on how to care for their cats. Dan thoroughly enjoyed his visit and would like to thank Kathleen Lusted, along with all the volunteers, for there continuing hard work.

I do not intend to rehearse the discussion on the lack of, or reduction in, funding for the...
Children and Mental Health Services — [Mark Pritchard in the Chair] (16 Jul 2019)
