Dan always enjoys meeting with Ipswich and Suffolk’s young people and listening to their views and opinions. Last week he visited Kesgrave High School and held a lively Question and Answer session with the school’s A-Level Government and Politics students.
A number of topics were covered during his session with the students, including his work as both an MP, Government Minister and an NHS hospital doctor, whilst he was also asked about university tuition fees and the work that is being carried out by the Government to reform the benefits system so that people are better off in work than out.
It was an enjoyable session and all of the students were a real credit to their Headteacher, Nigel Burgoyne, who Dan would like to thank for inviting him to visit the school.
