Dan was very pleased to visit the Baylham Care Centre on Christmas Day, to meet with the dedicated, caring staff there and to share some festive cheer with the residents. Baylham is a high level care home which provides a range of services to its residents, including respite care, long term nursing, rehabilitation and physiotherapy, along with Dementia and holistic End of Life care.
The biggest challenge facing Suffolk is better looking after and properly supporting our growing older population. It is for this reason that we need to see a more integrated health and social care service that is grounded in local communities within Suffolk, to provide high quality elderly and end of life care, and the Baylham Care Centre stands as an exemplary model in how to provide this integrated care.
