Otley College showcases land-based studies to local MP

Dr Dan was delighted to visit Otley College, to see for himself the exciting developments under the leadership team. Following a meeting to hear more about the College's ambitious plans for growth and new opportunities for its students, Dr Dan very much enjoyed a tour of the campus.

During the tour, Dr Dan spent some time in the vehicle mechanics area, the construction hub and the animal welfare centre, before learning more about the new care farm currently being developed on site. Visiting the care farm, Dr Dan was pleased to meet some of the newest residents – a group of newly rehomed chickens who were settling in very happily to their new free range surroundings.

We are incredibly lucky to have a dedicated centre of excellence for land-based studies right here on our doorstep and Dr Dan looks forward to visiting Otley again very soon.

Member for Cambridge (Daniel Zeichner), of the east of England all-party parliamentary group, and on helping to put the east more firmly on the Government’s map. My hon. Friend was absolutely right...
