Cakes aplenty on the campaign trail in Badingham

Almost a year after officially opening Badingham's Community Shop, Dr Dan was delighted to return to visit Tanya and the team and to hear about the shop's progress.

The shop came about with lots of hard work and a real team effort from the community, assisted by financial support to the tune of £5500, from Suffolk Coastal District Council's Enabling Communities Budget.

Aside from benefitting the local residents, community pubs, shops and cafes provide a welcome pit-stop for those visiting the area, all too happy to stop awhile to sample fresh, locally prepared snack and goods. Passing trade such as this all helps to bolster the local economy and Dr Dan was pleased to see that this thriving community asset is going from strength to strength.
